Secret: best chocolate chip cookies in the world

And the secret is...patience.

Chocolate chip cookies have been part of my "work" since I was 12. I've made the Tollhouse recipe, the Neiman Marcus "legend" (likely a made up story) recipe and lots of others. But I finally found the ONE, the ONE recipe that kicks all of the others to the curb.

And the secret is overnight refrigeration of the dough. I'm not usually patient...when I want a hot cookie, I don't want to wait 24 hours! But trust me, this one is worth the wait.
